Hey, just a quick update:

I just added a few new features from Google Friend Connect to SXR. As you may have noticed, the members gadget has been added to the right hand column, and readers have joined the SXR community.

The new features you’ll find on the site include the follwing:

Comments | Polls | Ratings

The comments section is an easy way to talk with other members of the site, add you thoughts about the articles displayed, or simply leaving a few suggestions — overall, it makes communicating with each other a whole lot easier.

The pools portion of the sidebar is cool because we can see where we all stand on a few topics, including the current polls as of this posting: What’s your favorite movie of all time? And What’s the best trilogy. If you’re going to procrastinate online, do it here. If you have ideas for other polls, leave your ideas in the comments gadget directly above the pools gadget.

And finally, ratings. This is sort of like leaving comments on the blog, but it’s focused around the community of members on SXR. Rate an article, page, or potion of SXR. Leave your comments regarding how it can be improved. Let others know how helpful you think the information is.
