The ScriptFrenzy Challenge – 100 Page Screenplay in 30 Days
For those interested in participating in screenplay competitions, now’s the time. ScriptFrenzy is just hours away from beginning — life it’s sister challenge, the ScriptFrenzy screenplay competition challenges screenwriters to meet a certain amount of pages in one month.

However, unlike the NanoWriMo challenge, which calls for 50,000 words in one month’s time, the ScriptFrenzy challenges screenwriters to write 100 pages in that same time frame.
Overview of the Challenge
What
The challenge is to write a 100 page screenplay in 30 days. However, stage plays, television shows, short films, and graphic novels are also welcome (not sure how that makes sense, but cool!)
When
The ScriptFrenzy challenge takes place between April 1st – April 30th.
For those of you, like me, that have lost track of time, that’s tomorrow! Are you going to be participating?
Why
Because everyone has a story to tell. This is something I feel a lot of novice screenwriters can benefit from — mostly because I know most of you aren’t actually writing that screenplay you claim to be working on. Get to it and join this challenge — it’s all free.
For more, check out the ScriptFrenzy site.
Check out this cool video the ScriptFrenzy intern, Tim, put together while you’re at it.

What do you guys think? Will you be participating in the ScriptFrenzy challenge?
Why or Why not?
[...] it’s all going in a good direction. Seems like I’ll have to abandon any attempts at ScriptFrenzy this month but I’ll still be working on a script so it must count for something, right? [...]
